If you can’t already tell, we’re immensely proud to call this delightful little town home. We’re also very passionate about preserving its charm for future generations as well as sharing its treasures with visitors who find their way into our little slice of heaven. That’s why we established the Guardians of the Gap, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization specifically created to preserve, protect, and promote the town of Cumberland Gap as well as the surrounding Cumberland Gap region.
Our organization is made up of community-driven people committed to keeping Cumberland Gap shining like the true gem it is. Through membership fees from our Guardians themselves along with generous donations from caring individuals, we’re able to offer community-engaging events throughout the year, maintain our natural beauty and small-town charm, and successfully carry out our overall mission without a hitch.
