What is your “day job?”
I’m a retired educator and a small business owner in the tri-state area.
Why did you become involved with GOTG?
Kim Kotlar, one of our founding board members and Project Manager, asked me to join her and assist with creating an organization to meet the needs identified in the Cumberland Gap Master Plan. I was happy to help.
What do you feel is the most exciting thing on the horizon for Cumberland Gap?
I am very excited to see what happens next with the Tennessee Downtowns Project. I think it’s going to make some wonderful things happen in Cumberland Gap.
What is your favorite activity to do in Cumberland Gap and why?
I love to just sit by Gap Creek, relax, and enjoy my favorite beverage. It’s so peaceful.
